Inductelec Limited are a UK based manufacturer of Induction heating power supplies, ancillary equipment and related mechanical handling systems. We are in the unique position of being the only manufacturer who can claim that the whole process from design, to manufacturing, programming and testing can be completed under one roof at our site in Sheffield.

By combining our induction heating knowledge with in house mechanical design capabilities and internal machine shop, you can be assured that we can offer a 1 stop shop approach to your project. Our extensive use of the most up to date CAD packages including 3D solid works allows follow the process from concept to completion in clear easily interpreted detail.

Our Ultratec range of power units feature the very latest in IGBT and MOSFET technology coupled with a fully digital control system developed by our in house team specifically to meet the needs of the RF induction heating market place. Our team was tasked with producing a flexible, easily maintained, efficient and reliable system. The resulting modular concept offers an almost plug and play solution to a whole range of heating tasks.

Available in two frequency ranges of 100kHz or 200kHz complete with our DZM impedance matching system and powers from 3kW to 100kW the Ultratec range represent the best solution to applications traditionally undertaken using thermionic tube type equipment.

Power units from 50kW to 500kW in frequencies from 1kHz to 10kHz are catered for utilising our D-Type power unit. Again designed and built in the UK and utilising the same advanced digital control electronics as the Ultratec the D-Type offers a rugged reliable and technologically advanced solution to larger scale heating.

All power units are available with a CAN-bus interface to allow easy control from peripheral systems including PLC, PC or optical pyrometry etc, for scientific applications a full lab view interface is available.

Handling solutions can include rotary tables, conveyors, traverse systems, robot fed units pick and place, pneumatic and hydraulic presses. Often our solutions will be a bespoke unit which incorporates your ideas and expertise of your product as well as ours.
